One plus One: First Batur Convertible produced by Mulliner

The first of the Batur Convertibles has been created by Mulliner, Bentley’s in-house bespoke and special projects division. Finished in Opalite with Beluga and Mandarin highlights, this true one-off reflects the client’s vision, with a unique ‘one plus one’ interior design where the driver’s cockpit and passenger accommodation are finished in contrasting yet complementary colours.

Driver-focused design
The exterior highlights the performance of the 740 bhp W12 powertrain. A gloss black racing stripe bordered by Mandarin pinstripes runs seamlessly from the radiator to the rear deck, mirrored by bespoke embroidery on the Tonneau. The grille is finished in gloss Beluga with Mandarin highlights, while five-spoke alloy wheels feature the same accents.

‘One plus One’ interior
The interior continues the performance theme. The driver’s side is finished in Beluga hide and Alcantara with Mandarin detailing, while the passenger seat contrasts in Linen hide and Alcantara. Even the luggage area, key cases, and seat belts mirror the dual colourways, reinforcing the one plus one philosophy.

Meticulous craftsmanship
Details include satin black engine spin fascias, gloss Beluga veneer, titanium controls, and Mandarin cross stitching on the steering wheel. Illuminated sill treadplates carry the Batur nameplate and series number, while bespoke luggage and key cases complete the specification.

Coachbuilt exclusivity
Following the Bacalar and Batur coupé, the Batur Convertible is the third Mulliner Coachbuilt car. Strictly limited in number, it retains the most powerful version of Bentley’s iconic W12 engine, hand-assembled with 740 bhp. Each car is co-created with its owner through Mulliner’s bespoke visualiser, ensuring no two will ever be the same.
